My practice explores the relationship between plants, landscape, and human perception. Working at the intersectionof art, design, and material research, I use plants not only as subject matter but as physical medium and carrier of memory. My background in both visual arts and landscape architecture has shaped a way of thinking that moves between observation, spatial awareness, and experimentation. Plants are central to my work: their textures, structures, and traces become tools for investigating how nature is perceived, transformed, and reinterpreted within contemporary culture. Since founding Viaplant in 2018, I have developed plant-based materials that bridge technological processes and artistic inquiry. In my practice, fragments of vegetation are preserved, layered, and abstracted, creating works that oscillate between natural presence and human intervention. These processes raise questions about materiality, ecological awareness, and our increasingly mediated relationship with the living world. I am particularly interested in the phenomenon of plant blindness, the tendency to overlook the vegetal life that surrounds us. Through my works, I seek to slow down perception and invite closer attention to the overlooked textures, forms, and narratives embedded in plants. By bringing together elements of nature, technology, and abstraction, I aim to create spaces for refection on our place within a rapidly changing environment.
